Two For Tuesday Afternoon Matinees: Frank Zappa and the movies
1. Bone deep weirdness, cult classic, and weirdo vanity project, "The World's Greatest Sinner" is back in print and making the rounds to select movie houses near you. "The sight of Hilliard doing this creepy shimmy dance to the bangs and crashes of Zappa’s surf-punk stew is as compelling as it is disturbing."
2. Coming soon to select theaters near you, a new film traces surf music to the shores of cucamonga. "If you've grown up in a town like this, it's really lame as far as culture," he said.
