Later, 1968 or 1969, I would talk with Charlie about his drinking, and he was trying to be a healthy drunk, so I'd read in "Adele Davis" and do a little reading elsewhere and we'd head over to the health food store on Telegraph, the one that had the imported Fuchs toothbrushes from Germany and the tooth paste made famous in a recent James Bond movie, and he'd pick up BOTH a bottle of vitamin B complex and a bottle of folic acid, as he knew he had to take them together or they wouldn't work (Thank you, Adele).
This was back in the days when Michael Bloomfield and I discovered we both had the exact same edition of Aeschylus on the book shelf.
